Major General Elyezer Shkedy, former Commander of the Israel Air Force and Director General of El Al, has been appointed Chairman of the International Board of the Friends Organizations of the ZDVO in Israel and the world over. For the past five years, Shkedy had served as Chairman of the Board of the Friends of ZDVO in Israel.

A group of 25 members participating in a week-long AIPAC-AIEF Biennial Senate Club Mission to Israel stopped in to visit Beit Halochem on November 8.
