We Stand United: Ceremony Awards Scholarships to ZDVO Veterans

On December 28, 2023, an important indicator of Israel’s vitality went on as usual at Beit Halochem in Tel Aviv. Although Israel is going through unbelievably tough times, the chairman of ZDVO, Adv. Edan Kleiman, decided to hold the annual scholarship event as a way to show that our spirit is as strong as ever.

In 2023, ZDVO-Beit Halochem awarded 618 academic, vocational training, and  creative arts scholarships for a total amount of approximately $670,000 USD, raised through donors from all over the world.

“Through our ongoing scholarship project,” Dr. Moshe Shemma, ZDVF Executive Director, has noted, “We are showing our victory over evil, as we continue to build the future of the Jewish people in the Land of Israel.

In these difficult days, Beit Halochem centers are being filled with new disabled veterans from the Iron Swords War. Looking forward, the scholarships project makes rebuilding the lives of our heroes a reality.  This extra support  constitutes an enormous contribution to our members and disabled veterans, helping with their reintegration into society through education and career acquisition.

We extend our deepest gratitude to all of you on behalf of our brave soldiers.

Thank you all for caring. It makes a difference in the lives of our men and women.
