Boynton Beach Hosts Beit Halochem: Chapter Renewed

Ann and Jim Cohen hosted a gathering in Boynton Beach to introduce Friends of Israel Disabled Veterans-Beit Halochem to new people and re-energize the Boynton Beach Chapter, previously led by the late Al Ben-Ness z”l, a long-time friend and advocate for disabled veterans in Israel. Marty Samuel co-chaired this event.

The Cohens hosted this renewal outreach event on December 20, 2018, in their home. Friends, colleagues and other invited guests heard Israeli veteran Sivan Ron, who was seriously injured during Operation Protective Edge in 2014, after viewing a video presentation, “The Efron Team – Operation Protective Edge.”

It is particularly significant that the Cohens have agreed to lead renewal of the Boynton beach Chapter of FIDV-Beit Halochem. We thank them for taking on this leadership role, and for hosting this community event on behalf of Beit Halochem.

We are grateful to everyone who attended and thank you for your interest in the welfare of Israel’s heroes and terror attack survivors.

A special “Thank You” to Ann and James Cohen, Marty Samuel, and everyone who participated in this renewal event. We ask each guest who attended to commit to helping Beit Halochem. The disabled veterans of Israel, the men and women who have sacrificed so much to protect the State, rely on your friendship and support. Working together in Boynton Beach we can make a real difference!
