Sixth Annual National Day of Appreciation for Those Wounded in Israel’s Wars and Terrorist Attacks
The annual ceremony to mark the “National Day of Appreciation for Those Wounded in Israel’s Wars and Terrorist Attacks” took place at Tel Aviv’s Beit Halochem on Sunday, December 15, 2019.
Special guests included Reuven Rivlin, President of the State of Israel; Adv. Edan Kleiman, Chairman of the Zahal Disabled Veterans Organization (ZDVO); Abie Moses, Chairman of the Organization for Victims of Terror; Yisrael Ben Pazi, Director General of Ze’hu; Major General Mordechai (Moti) Almoz, Head of the Manpower Directorate; Avi Lehrman, Director General of the Zahal Disabled Veterans Organization; and many others.
This is the sixth year that the ZDVO/Beit Halochem participated in this special day, established by the Government in recognition and appreciation of those wounded in Israel’s wars and terror attacks. Observed nationwide, this day includes a series of events, ceremonies, assemblies and activities throughout Israel.
