Please partner with Friends of Israel Disabled Veterans-Beit Halochem as we start raising the critically needed funds to build a new Beit Halochem in Ashdod. When completed, Beit Halochem Ashdod will serve the more than 6,500 disabled veterans and their families living in the Coastal region between Ashkelon and Rishon Lezion. The Beit Halochem Ashdod 8,000 sq. meter center will offer all the regular rehabilitation and socialization activities and, additionally, will emphasize the development of marine sports as an integral part of the healing process.
To be built along Ashdod’s Southern Riviera, construction is scheduled to begin in 2013, with total construction costs estimated at $30 million USD. Below is a slide show of what the new center will look like.
