On September 2, 2020, 60 Sports Excellence Scholarships were awarded at Beit Halochem Tel Aviv, for total value of $110,600 USD. In a special ceremony adapted because of the pandemic, the scholarship support went to excelling athletes and their coaches for their athletic achievements. Our brave men and women from all four Beit Halochem centers are truly inspiring.

Despite the many challenges and difficulties these heroes face on a daily basis due to their disabilities, they are determined to persevere and strive for excellence. The award ceremony was a warm evening that felt like it was celebrating a big, united, family embracing Beit Halochem members and our donors, who despite their physical absence from the ceremony, were there in spirit, touching the lives of each of the scholarship recipients. Without those generous supporters, the scholarship awards would not have been possible.
