Israel garnered an impressive array of medals at the European Championships in wheelchair dancing, held November 9 – 11, 2018, in Lomianki, Poland.

Vital Zinger, a wheelchair dancer from Beit Halochem Tel Aviv, and her standing dancing partner Shon Ziv, won a Silver Medal. Their Bollywood dance routine touched the entire audience, which expressed its appreciation in two long standing ovations.

In the Latin Dance category competition, Zinger and Ziv also took home a Bronze Medal.

Wheelchair dancer Margalit Tomer won two Silver Medals in the Women’s Freestyle Solo category, and wheelchair dancers Sami Dahan and Maytal Wax, won three Bronze Medals in the categories of Standard, Latin and Freestyle.

All the dancers rehearse at Beit Halochem Tel Aviv under the guidance and choreography of Coach Yelena Feitlicher.
