On Sunday, July 16, the team of four competitors from Friends of Israel Disabled Veterans (FIDV)-Beit Halochem took part in the 17th New York City Triathlon. David Fogel, an FIDV Board member, Gabriel Siegal, Dov Zamore and Seth Matarasso completed the 1.5-kilometer swim, 40-kilometer bike ride, and 10-kilometer run that make up the triathlon, while raising critically needed funds for Beit Halochem in Israel.

“We are very proud of their strength and determination,” Ella Levine, FIDV National Executive Director commented. “We thank them for using this platform to help fund rehabilitation services and therapies in Israel for seriously wounded veterans, and those with PTSD, at our Beit Halochem centers. A special thanks to each of them!”
